First Stop: Torquay
Alex & Thijs are probably the luckiest unlucky people in the world. After losing their GoPro in the water at Surfers Paradise they received two parking tickets and thought their travel photos were lost forever.
Several months later, our Marketing Manager found it a few kilometres down the beach, and knew she had to reunite it with it’s owners. After a worldwide social media search, we found them, and started planning the GoPro’s return.

Starting at Torquay along the Great Ocean Road, Alex & Thijs cruised the coast in their Cascada convertible. Home to Bells Beach and the birthplace of Quicksilver and Rip Curl, Torquay is renowned for it’s surf culture. For those uninspired by the swell and surf breaks, it’s safe to say that the Melbourne foodie lifestyle has spread it’s tasty tentacles down to Torquay.
Alex & Thijs checked out the plethora of organic eateries on offer, as well as Blackman’s Brewery to balance out all that healthy eating.
Seriously Alex & Thijs? Tone it down, we’re jealous of this road trip already and it’s only just begun. Not helping our FOMO is Leezair who have planned out some beyond epic activities for this cute couple along the way.

Next stop: Canberra. We can’t wait to see what they get up to in the capital city!
